Optima JET100 1.1 kW cast iron is a centrifugal type pump with a single impeller. Pressure in centrifugal pumps is created due to the centrifugal force that occurs when the blades of the impeller act on the liquid. The water lifting depth up to 9m is achieved thanks to the ejector (venturi tube) installed in the pump housing. The absorbed liquid is only partially fed into the discharge nozzle. The remaining part of the water recirculates through the ejector, which, being connected to the suction chamber, creates a vacuum in it, necessary for raising the water. Before start-up, it is necessary to pour water into the pump part. Thanks to the Venturi system, the problem of pumping liquids containing air is solved.
